Key Measurements

• ⭕ Outer Diameter (O.D.): 80mm (Standardized across all focal lengths in the set).

• 🔄 Front Filter Thread: 72mm (Accepts standard screw-on filters directly).

• Physical Movement: Internal focus design with unified focus and iris gear positions. (The front element does not telescope or rotate, and you do not need to reposition your follow focus motors when swapping between the 31mm, 43mm, 58mm, or 85mm).

Compatible Matte Boxes (Available to Rent)

• Tilta Matte Box MB-T12: Can be mounted directly using an 80mm clamp-on adapter ring (often included with the matte box kit) or via 15mm LWS rods.

• ARRI Lightweight Mattebox LMB-25 3-Stage: Requires an 80mm clamp adapter backplate to fit securely over the front element.

• Tilta Mirage Motorized VND Kit: Perfect for lightweight gimbal or run-and-gun setups. Mounts easily via an 80mm adapter ring or directly into the 72mm front thread using a step-ring.

Compatible Filters

• Circular Filters (72mm): Ideal for lightweight setups. All lenses in the set accept standard 72mm screw-on filters (such as Variable NDs, Pro-Mists, or UV filters) directly on the front thread.

• Cinema Filters (4×5.65″): For studio and narrative setups, pair these lenses with 4×5.65″ glass filters, such as our 7x TIFFEN 4×5.6 IR ND WW Filter Set, using a rod-mounted or clamped matte box.

Recommended Rigging Accessories

• Wireless Lens Control: Because all focal lengths share identical weight (~530g) and unified gear positions, we highly recommend renting the Nucleus-M II Wireless Lens Control System. You can easily swap lenses on set without having to rebalance your gimbal or remount your focus motors.

• 15mm LWS Lens Support: While these are some of the lightest cinema primes on the market, utilizing a 15mm lens support bracket paired with our Smallrig Adapter Baseplate 15mm is always a good safety practice to protect the camera’s mount when flying heavier multi-stage matte boxes.

⚠️ Rigging Notes

• Sensor Coverage & Mount: These lenses cover Full-Frame sensors (up to a 46mm image circle) and feature an interchangeable PL/EF mount. Because they are so lightweight, they can comfortably be flown on smaller gimbals (like the DJI RS3 Pro) without the need for extensive counterweights, even with a lightweight matte box attached.
