The Foam Box Company was founded by Jocelyn, an experienced Grip who has been working on movie sets since 2008. In the film industry, it is a well-known fact that everyone on set eventually uses a traditional apple box to sit or climb on.
Despite its undeniable utility, the standard apple box is made of wood. This creates a few recurring issues: it frequently scratches floors and is notoriously uncomfortable to sit on for extended periods.
Drawing from a career built on problem-solving, Jocelyn saw an opportunity to innovate and address these everyday annoyances. The result is The Foam Box—an extremely lightweight, highly durable, and comfortable alternative designed specifically to solve these on-set challenges.
