Key Measurements

• Physical Movement: Internal focus design with unified focus and iris gear positions. (The front element does not telescope or rotate, keeping your matte box perfectly stationary during focus pulls).

Compatible Matte Boxes (Available to Rent)

• Tilta Matte Box MB-T12: Can be mounted directly using an 80mm clamp-on adapter ring (often included with the matte box kit) or via 15mm LWS rods.

• ARRI Lightweight Mattebox LMB-25 3-Stage: Requires an 80mm clamp adapter backplate to fit securely over the front element.

• Tilta Mirage Motorized VND Kit: Perfect for lightweight gimbal setups. Mounts easily via an 80mm adapter ring or directly into the 77mm front thread.

Compatible Filters

• Circular Filters (77mm): Ideal for run-and-gun setups or gimbals. All the lenses accept standard 77mm screw-on filters directly on the front thread.

• Cinema Filters (4×5.65″): For studio setups, pair these lenses with 4×5.65″ glass filters, such as our 7x TIFFEN 4×5.6 IR ND WW Filter Set, using a rod-mounted or clamped matte box.

• Wireless Lens Control: Because all focal lengths share unified gear positions, we highly recommend renting the Nucleus-M II Wireless Lens Control System.

• 15mm LWS Lens Support: Utilizing a 15mm lens support bracket paired with our Smallrig Adapter Baseplate 15mm is a good safety practice to protect the camera’s mount when flying heavy matte boxes and motors.

⚠️ Rigging Notes for Anamorphics

• Sensor Coverage: The Remus series covers Full-Frame sensors (36x24mm). When shooting with the widest focal lengths on a Full-Frame camera, avoid stacking too many screw-on filters or using a rod-mounted matte box pushed too far forward to prevent mechanical vignetting.
