Ultra-Compact, Pocket-Sized Design
About 76mm x 113mm in size, CineView Nano weighs only 72.3g and is less than half the weight of the CineView HE/SE transmitter. It also has an aluminum housing for durability. Two integrated antennas built in to maintain the small size.
HDMI Monitoring Made Easier
CineView Nano features one HDMI-in port and uses 5G WiFi signal to send video wirelessly to up to 4 tablets or phones with both Android or iOS system.
Low Latency, Long Range
With an average latency of around 60ms, Nano has nearly undetectable lag that transmits to a maximum distance of 500ft.
Mounting & Powering
CineView Nano offers a 1/4″-20 mounting point on the bottom and can easily be mounted on your camera. It also features a well-designed phone holder to secure your phone while monitoring.

Power Consumption

Typical Power Draw: ~3.5 Watts (Nominal draw for the Transmitter when not charging a connected phone).

Internal Battery: None. The transmitter relies entirely on external power sources.

External Power: Designed for ultra-lightweight mirrorless setups, the CineView Nano offers two ways to power the unit:

  1. Sony L-Series Plate (NP-F): Integrated directly into the back of the unit.

  2. USB-C (5V Input): Can be powered continuously by a standard consumer USB power bank or directly from a camera’s high-output USB-C port.

Estimated Battery Runtimes (Calculated using an active 3.5W draw)

  • Sony NP-F550 (~15Wh): ~4.2 hours

  • Sony NP-F750 (~31Wh): ~8.8 hours

  • Sony NP-F970 (~47Wh): ~13.4 hours

Important Disclaimer on Runtimes The runtimes provided above are estimates only, based on standard mathematical calculations. Your actual runtime may vary depending on the age, health condition, and exact milliamp-hour (mAh) capacity of your specific NP-F batteries. Additionally, if you use the Nano’s USB-C output to charge your smartphone while transmitting, the battery life will decrease significantly.

⚠️ Rigging Notes for ACs

  • Smartphone Charging Passthrough: The CineView Nano features a 10W USB-C power output. If you are using a large NP-F970 battery on the back of the transmitter, you can use a USB-C cable to simultaneously keep your smartphone charged while it acts as your director’s monitor.

  • Ultra-Light Builds: Because the power draw is so low (under 4 watts), you can easily power this unit off a standard smartphone power bank via USB-C or a tiny NP-F550 to keep gimbal builds as light as possible.
